Santa Hat Brownies! Awww!

What is it about the colour mint that makes me just want to buy EVERYTHING? I don’t know but these eco friendly coffee cups are super cute and I love that the company is called hookturn because one of my favourite things about driving in Melbourne is hook turns.

I’m always just about to write up and follow an awesome budget which will end up with me have a zillion dollars in my savings account. Of course it never actually happens because I’m terrible when it comes to saving. But Anna from And Then She Saved is not so terrible at saving – she managed to pay off over $20,000 of debt in a little over a year! And she made this hand ‘should I buy it?‘ printable flow-chart guide to help you save some money too.

Cute DIY: Removable shoe fringe from The Dainty Squid. I post a lot of DIY stuff on here but I never seem to try any of them myself, maybe that will be a New Years Resolution for me.
“The useless days will add up to something. The shitty waitressing jobs. The hours writing in your journal. The long meandering walks. The hours reading poetry and story collections and novels and dead people’s diaries and wondering about sex and God and whether you should shave under your arms or not. These things are your becoming.”
- Via The Rumpus Advice Column, I just thought this was a nice piece of writing.
This collection of photos, notes and diary entries from one of Tavi’s friends’ moms is one of my favourite articles on Rookie so far.
These tents from Field Candy are a bit pricey (~$800) but man they are cool. If I went camping more/had more disposable income I don’t think I’d be able to resist.

Those coffee cups are so awesome, they remind me on vintage Jadeite!

I’ve seen one of the Espresso book machines in person! There’s a little bookstore near me that has one and you can see it in action if you’re there at the right time – it’s mesmerizing! They use it to publish their own books too, like local comics anthologies. Really cool.
p.s. I think I would buy almost anything in mint green!

That tent is amazing! I’d never heard of Field Candy, but now covet these designs! Also love Hookturn’s BYO coffee cups, they are great value. Happy new year to you! x
